Time Span: 1987 - 1990

Zéro Faute is a courseware package developed for students of French at intermediate and advanced levels. The programme introduces specific problems of French grammar, in a cognitive approach, and enables the students to enlarge their skills individually and interactively.

The exercises focus on accurate observation and inductive learning according to cognitive strategies that lead to explicit comprehension of specific problems concerning grammar and orthography. These problems are integrated in a larger context providing sentence analysis as well as morphological and lexical analysis. Specific feedback (additional questions, examples or explanation) on students' answers is based on an extensive analysis of the answers.
